This guide explains how to use the Xolapp calendar to view and navigate appointments. It covers day, week, and month views, color coding, and business hours. It is for anyone who uses the appointments calendar.
Your calendar is your central hub for viewing and managing all appointments. Navigate efficiently, visualize your schedule, and stay organized with multiple view options.
Choose the view that works best for your needs. Switch between views easily using the view selector.
Day View
See appointments for a specific day with detailed time slots.
Best for: Daily planning and detailed scheduling
Week View
View a week at a glance with all appointments visible.
Best for: Weekly planning and overview
Month View
See the entire month with appointment indicators.
Best for: Long-term planning and availability overview
Efficiently move through your calendar and quickly access the dates you need.
Arrow Navigation
Use left/right arrow buttons to move between days, weeks, or months depending on your current view
Today Button
Click "Today" to instantly jump to the current date from any view
Date Selection
Click on any date in the calendar to create a new appointment for that day
View Switching
Switch between Day, Week, and Month views using the view selector buttons
Appointments are color-coded to help you quickly identify different types and statuses at a glance.
By Service Type
Different services may have different colors to distinguish them visually on the calendar
By Staff Member
If you have multiple staff, each team member's appointments may be color-coded for easy identification

Control when appointments can be scheduled by setting your operating hours. This ensures clients can only book during your available times.
What you can configure:
💡 Tip: Operating hours apply to all public bookings. If you have staff with different schedules, you can set individual staff availability in the Team section.
Use the view selector on the Appointments page (usually near the top of the calendar). Choose Day, Week, or Month to change how appointments are displayed.
Click the Today button on the calendar to go to the current date from any view. Use the left/right arrows to move between days, weeks, or months.
Appointments can be color-coded by service type, staff member, or status (e.g. confirmed, pending, cancelled). This helps you see at a glance who has what and which status an appointment has.
Go to Settings → Business. Set your weekly schedule, break times, closure dates, and timezone. This controls when clients can book. Staff-specific availability is set in the Team section.
