Analytics Overview

Location: Dashboard → Analytics Sections

Your Dashboard includes 6 comprehensive analytics sections, each providing valuable insights into different aspects of your business:

💰 Revenue & Cash Flow

Track revenue trends, compare periods, view revenue by source (appointments vs invoices), and monitor confirmed vs pending revenue.

📅 Appointments & Bookings

Monitor appointment counts, status distribution, booking trends, and compare performance across different time periods.

👥 Client Growth & Retention

Track new client acquisition, returning client percentage, growth trends, and client lifetime value.

🔧 Service Performance

Identify top-performing services, revenue by service, booking frequency, and service popularity rankings.

💳 Payment Collection

Monitor collection rates, overdue amounts, average days to payment, and payment status breakdowns.

⚡ Operational Efficiency

Track average appointment duration, no-show rates, booking lead times, and peak hours analysis.

Time Period Comparisons

Compare your business performance across different time periods to identify trends and make informed decisions.

Available Time Periods:

  • Today: View today's performance metrics
  • This Week: Compare this week with previous periods
  • This Month: Current month's performance analysis
  • Last Month: Previous month for comparison

💡 Tip: Use the time period selector at the top of your Dashboard to switch between periods. All analytics sections update automatically to show data for the selected period.

Exporting Analytics Data

Export your analytics data for external analysis, reporting, or record-keeping.

Export Options:

  • CSV Export: Download raw data in CSV format for Excel, Google Sheets, or other spreadsheet applications. Includes all metrics, dates, and details for the selected period.
  • PDF Export: Generate formatted reports with charts and summaries (coming soon).

How to Export:

  1. Navigate to any analytics section on your Dashboard
  2. Click the Export button (with download icon) in the section header
  3. Choose CSV format (PDF coming soon)
  4. The file will download automatically with data for the currently selected time period

Understanding Analytics Metrics

Revenue Metrics:

  • Total Revenue: Sum of all confirmed and pending earnings
  • Confirmed Revenue: Payments that have been received and confirmed
  • Pending Revenue: Invoices/appointments awaiting payment
  • Revenue by Source: Breakdown of revenue from appointments vs manual invoices
  • Growth %: Percentage change compared to previous period

Client Metrics:

  • New Clients: Clients added in the selected period
  • Returning Clients: Clients with more than one appointment
  • Returning Rate: Percentage of clients who book multiple times
  • Client Growth: Trend showing cumulative client growth over time

Payment Metrics:

  • Collection Rate: Percentage of invoices that have been paid
  • Average Days to Payment: Average time from invoice creation to payment
  • Overdue Amount: Total value of invoices past their due date
  • Payment Status: Breakdown of paid, pending, overdue, and draft invoices

Where are analytics shown?

Analytics appear on your Dashboard in six sections: Revenue & Cash Flow, Appointments & Bookings, Client Growth & Retention, Service Performance, Payment Collection, and Operational Efficiency.

Can I change the time period?

Yes. Use the period selector at the top of the Dashboard (e.g. Today, This Week, This Month, Last Month). All analytics sections update to the selected period.

How do I export analytics data?

In any analytics section, click the Export button (download icon) in the section header. Choose CSV to download the data for the current period. PDF export may be coming later.

What metrics are included?

Metrics include revenue (total, confirmed, pending), appointment counts and status, new and returning clients, collection rate, overdue amount, average duration, no-show rate, and peak hours. Each section focuses on a different area.
